Democrat for Congress, Florida’s 3rd District

The economy is breaking down. Not someday — now. I have a plan to protect this district. Nobody else even has one.

Five steps. One district. No more waiting.

1

Stop the Bleeding

Healthcare subsidies are already gone. SNAP cuts are scheduled to hit after the election. Benefits punish us for earning a raise. Some things can’t wait for a five-year plan. These are the emergency lanes.

2

Bring Our Money Home

Every year, members of Congress can request funding for specific projects in their district — a clinic, a fire station, a water plant. Our current representative has submitted zero requests. Zero. I have the first seven ready. Our tax dollars should come back to our communities.

3

Storm-Proof the District

Mobile clinics where there are no doctors. Co-op housing that survives hurricanes. Local food systems that cut out the middleman. Our own energy so our bills stop depending on wars and pipelines seven thousand miles away. Every piece makes FL-3 harder to break.

4

Hold Them Accountable

In 2008, the economy collapsed and we bailed out the companies that caused it. Nobody went to prison. The people who broke it designed the recovery — and designed it to benefit themselves. Next time, bailouts come with prosecution, not bonuses.

5

Change the Rules

A floor under people. A floor under businesses. An economy where money has to keep moving instead of concentrating at the top. Not first-term legislation — a conversation the country needs to start having. But somebody has to put it on the table.

The Floor & F-Corp →

Wall Street keeps hitting new highs. Main Street has been in recession for years.

And it’s getting worse. I’m not running because I have all the answers. I’m running because I have a plan — and my priority locally is to bring back the money we send to Washington and invest it in us, based on our needs.
